Its main components include data collection, artificial intelligence-based remote monitoring and reporting. The service is aimed at scientific institutions, cultural heritage managers and national and international institutions responsible for cultural heritage. Heritage Guard aims to improve cultural heritage monitoring processes through the use of modern technologies and methodologies, helping to conserve cultural heritage and reduce costs and losses for the sector. It operates commercially through a subsidiary of Vilnius University, MB Digital Heritage.
